What previous participants say about this training:

I ended up with much more then I bargained for. I met some amazing people. I learned to listen to my body; it has so much to tell us. I learned a lot about myself, especially that many things I used to take for granted are actually things to be proud of. I found a direction for my career and my life. I use the skills taught by the trainers in my day-to-day life, making life just a bit easier. I came back a happier and more confident person, making this week a great gift to have given to myself.

The week at Salvaj was relaxing, resourcing, enriching and felt very safe the whole time.

About this course6E6A6177

During this Spring course we retreat from our digital lives in a beautiful forest in Northern-Italy. Together with like minded people and a team of four experienced facilitators we learn to make a good connection to our own nature. We offer you a fun and inspiring setting in which you can learn to flourish and discover what really matters to you in this life.

“I feel that I draw nearest to understanding the great secret of my life in my closest intercourse with nature. There is a reality and health in present nature which cannot be contemplated in antiquity. I suppose that what in other men is religion is in me love of nature.”

~  Henry David Thoreau

We know that a lot of people experience difficulties in their lives. Especially when you are wondering about your future. Questions like: ‘What kind of person do I want to be in society?’, ‘ is this what i really want?’, ‘what will be my next step?’, ‘How do I stand out in a large group of people?’, ‘How do others see me?’, ‘How can I stop worrying about the future?’, ‘How can I learn to relax?’, ‘How can I make good choices?’ or ‘What do I want in life’, will come up and can make us feel lost and even despair.

For people who recognise these questions in their lives (or want to dig a little deeper), we’re offering a course on natural flourishing. During an intercultural week, a team of expert trainers in areas like personal leadership, psychology, spirituality, and nature-connection will facilitate you during a journey of personal development. We’ll create an emotionally safe and intercultural setting within the nurturing environment of a gorgeous Italian forest. Nature-connection has a special focus during this week.

Because it’s important for us to adjust the programme to the needs of the participants, we will invite you to share your specific needs when you’ve signed up. As a follow up, after the training we offer you the possibility to have extra online sessions through the platform of our partner organisation HappyOnion.org.

Language of the course

English and Dutch

We’ll retreat in the forest, offline and remote from the urbanised world. Within the forest there is a wonderful old farm where we’ll spend our days for the workshops and meals. All our sessions will be held both indoors and outdoors. Have a look at the pictures and explore our venue.

How to get there
We would like to remind you that your travel arrangements are not included in the price. So your task is to get to Italy on the 2nd of November. We can give you suggestions how you can find the most convenient and economical tickets. However, if you have time and courage, we like to recommend you to come hitchhiking. It could be a wonderful lesson.

There are several flights you can take to get to our forest, but whatever your departure airport, flying to Turin is the easiest destination. Then from Turin you can take a train to Ceva (75 -90 minutes – €8,70), which is close to our location.

For your overnight stays you’ll be hosted at a 400-year-old farm house that is located at a 10-minute walking distance from the arboretum. This house offers all facilities you need (except for internet off course) and has a wonderful view over castle of Sale San Giovanni and the alps.
